Entertainment Attorney

After being a practising attorney for more than a decade in both the private and public sectors, Cindy has developed keen skills in contract drafting and negotiation, and possessed experience in copyright management and trademark registration, all augmented by her appreciation of the nuances of the entertainment industry given that she is also a performer. She considers herself to be a resourceful , immersed attorney who is fluent in the language of the entertainment industry and able to communicate well with both artists and other legal professionals.

Fusing the law and her passion, she is pursuing an LL.M in Entertainment Law and Industry from the prestigious University of Southern California, and also possesses Post Graduate Diploma in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Leicester. Cindy has completed a variety of courses with the World Intellectual Property (WIPO) eLearning Centre and is being trained as an Adult Educator with the new Intellectual Property Education Academy, Trinidad and Tobago.

Cindy also has experience in administration, policy development, legislative drafting and advocacy and has been elected several times to the Council of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
