Super Single Cindy- Sketch 5

It has been a challenging time for everyone in T&T, and particularly for the creatives who can’t earn or even have some release from performing. The recent spike in numbers of COVID-19 cases has brought our economic and social activity back to a screeching halt. It has been difficult reading sad headlines of loss and hardship. It has already been a long road so to have to down tools just as things were looking up is harsh. I realized there is a strange kind of community that comes from watching those Government press conferences and it gave me an idea for a Super Single Cindy sketch that replaced the one I had originally scheduled for release. We all need a break from the bad news and the anxiety-inducing uncertainty so why not have a bit of respite, just escape for 2 minutes and have a laugh. Of course, restrictions on movement and gathering made it impossible for me to collaborate with the actors that I would normally have access to, so out of an abundance of caution, I threw on my wigs and did the multi-character type sketch that have become super-popular on the socials. It’s the press conference you didn’t get but need! We’ve all met them, some of us have had to deal with them for longer than others, but similarly unifying is the theme of ‘the waste man’ lol.
