Tom, Dick and Harry!

It has been a whirlwind grueling 7 weeks leading up to what will be the debut production of the new theatre group Better Than We? Wey! as we present the hilarious comedy Tom, Dick and Harry written by Michael Cooney and Ray Cooney. Now, this group of dedicated thespians has a history of positively reinforcing each other and we enjoy each other’s company which makes for great on-stage chemistry. The group was already formed in theory and after hearing the summary of this riotous farce that I’d come across, every one was convinced that it would be the perfect for our introduction to the public as THE newest formidable theatrical force. The word ‘grueling’ was not used lightly and it was a pleasure sharing producer duties with Paula Hamilton-Smith, Rachel Bascombe-Walters and Director, Trevon C. Jugmohan. Of course, getting sponsorship in the middle of a pandemic was incredibly difficult but every member of the team contributed their time, skills and talents to help make this fever dream a reality and in ONE MORE DAY, we will be officially launched having had our maiden performance! It is hard to believe that this came together in 7 weeks! There have been sooo many challenges but we have clearly had supernatural support. That with the sheer commitment and passion of the group players, cast and crew, is responsible for what will be a tremendous success and symbolic passing of the baton. It’s SHOWTIME!!!
